Proteção radiológica em medicina dentária

Prof. Ingrid Różyło-Kalinowska graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the Medical University of Lublin, Poland, in 1997. In the same year she started post-graduate studies in radiology. In the years 1998-2007 she worked in the 2nd Department of Medical Radiology of the Medical University of Lublin. In 1999 she was awarded PhD degree with merits in the Medical University of Lublin. In 2004 she was awarded the DSc degree by the Medical University of Warsaw, Poland. In 2010 she was awarded Full Professor title by the President of Poland. She is specialist in radiology and diagnostic imaging, Head of the Department of Dental and Maxillofacial Radiodiagnostics as well as vice-Dean of the Faculty of Medical Dentistry of the Medical University of Lublin, Poland and member of the Senate of the University.

Scientific work of Ingrid Różyło-Kalinowska includes over 220 full papers and over 300 conference contributions. She is supervisor of 14 completed PhD theses, 4 on-going PhD processes as well as of 11 MSc dissertations.

She completed 6 training periods abroad (France, Jordan, Spain, UK).

Her didactic work includes dental radiography and radiology, maxillofacial radiology, medical radiology and diagnostic imaging for dentists, medical radiologists, radiographers as well as Polish and English Division students of dentistry, radiography and dental hygiene.

She is the Immediate Past President of the European Academy of DentoMaxilloFacial Radiology, Regional Director of International Association of Dentomaxillofacial in Europe, vice-President of the Polish Dental Association. She is the Chairman of the Section of DentoMaxillofacial Radiology of the Polish Medical Radiological Society. She is an active member of the European Society of Radiology and Pierre Fauchard Academy, the Polish Section. She is board member of the local division of the Polish Hygienic Society.

She is the Editor-in-Chief of the “Journal of Stomatology”, the official journal of the Polish Dental Association. She belongs to the editorial boards of several scientific journals and serves as a reviewer of numerous manuscripts submitted to international scientific journal.

She is author of the book “Imaging Techniques in Dental Radiology” (Springer, 2020), co-editor and co-author the books: “Atlas of Cone-Beam Computed Tomography” (Wiley, to be published in 2022), “Ultrasonography in Dentomaxillofacial Diagnostics” (Springer, 2021), “Temporomandibular Joint Imaging” (Springer, 2018), 6 dentomaxillofacial radiology textbooks in Polish, chapters on dentomaxillofacial radiology in 5 Polish textbooks, as well as parts of the “English-Polish and Polish-English Dental Dictionary” (1999) and “Practical Dental Dictionary” (2016). She translated 10 medical textbooks (including 4 on dental as well as  head and neck radiology) from English or German to Polish.

Resumo da conferência

Uma mesa-redonda onde se irá fazer uma abordagem sobre a radioproteção na radiologia dentária e da forma como a directiva 59/2013 da Euratom, foi aplicada nos diversos países europeus. Haverá unanimidade na forma como esta directiva europeia foi transposta na Europa? A legislação em vigor em Portugal também será tema de discussão, bem como todo o processo de adequação e alteração em curso, dando conta de todo o processo decorrido.

Conferência será ministrada em inglês.
