Conference summary
The quality of life of our patients depends a lot on the levels of satisfaction provided by the therapeutic options chosen for an oral prosthetic rehabilitation. Despite the limited number of publications with scientific evidence for the added value of rehabilitation with implant-assisted removable partial dentures (IARPD). The preliminary results existing to date suggest that IARPD are a very pragmatic therapeutic option with an adequate cost/benefit ratio for various classes of partial edentulism, with aesthetic and functional advantages, compared to conventional removable partial dentures or even fixed partial dentures, especially in situations of great edentulism with very resorbed ridges.
This conference will address the theoretical foundations that support this therapeutic option and its practical applicability based on clinical cases, so that IARPD can contribute to an effective improvement in the satisfaction levels of our patients.
