Conference summary
More and more complex Oral Rehabilitation treatments are sought after by our population, either due to the growing concern for a healthier lifestyle, the greater amount of information made available to the public or the pressure of society in a more intense search for aesthetics.
From the simplest to the most elaborate cases, there are several treatment plans that we can follow, making it imperative, in many of them, a multidisciplinary approach in which orthodontic treatment can be preponderant. When severe skeletal discrepancies are present, the combined treatment Orthodontics-Orthognathic Surgery becomes essential to enable an esthetic and functional oral rehabilitation. In the lecture we will address the role of Orthodontic-Surgical-Orthognathic Treatment as a preparation phase for the final Oral Rehabilitation so that it meets the expectations of both the Dentist and the Patient.
