Conference summary

The combination of fixed prosthodontics and removable prosthodontics allows satisfactory results for patients over time, being the ideal rehabilitation when the patient’s anatomical, economic and psychological conditions do not allow the placement of implants. Teeth maintenance prevents major changes to the supporting tissues, maximizing their life span.

Mixing ceramic coated crowns and acrylic teeth creates an important aesthetic challenge. The longevity of this type of rehabilitation depends not only on the selection of the abutment teeth, but also on the type and shape of the attachments.
