Conference summary

This workshop is designed to provide a general overview of the admissions process for foreign trained dentists to USA based programs. The interactive workshop will focus on the websites available for further research and program identification, terminology used to differentiate programs, required documentation needed to successfully submit an application, as well as tips and communication strategies for speaking and communicating with admissions officers.

A member of the audience will be selected for a mock interview in order to highlight the importance of confident body language and suggestions to improve interview answers. By the end of the workshop, the audience will have a better understanding of where to start the research process as well as what documents are required for admission to any program type.
