Conference summary

The reverse inter- and multidisciplinary treatment is fundamental for the esthetic and functional success and longevity of prosthetic rehabilitations on endosseous implants.

Controlled clinical cases will be presented, with long-term postoperative follow-up of up to 25 years.

The esthetic success of implant-supported dentures may only be achieved by a harmonious transition between pink esthetics (gingiva) and white esthetics (crowns).

The clinical cases will present different approaches for healed and fresh extraction sockets, as well as techniques and materials for alveolar filling after extractions and immediate implant placement.

We will present the main clinical situations observed in the anterior maxilla with missing teeth, characterizing the healed ridges and fresh extraction sockets with immediate implant placement and provisional restorations.

The clinical and prosthetic approaches will be presented in situations of maintenance of intact socket after extraction, presence of partial or total alveolar defect, as well as in cases with gingival defect.

Interventions with implants will be adopted for replacement of teeth with root resorptions, root fractures and tooth avulsions associated with loss of buccal bone.

Options for alveolar filling, including autogenous bone grafts, biomaterials, RDI technique and customized healers will be presented and discussed, as well as their benefits for a better esthetics.

The presentation will also address CAD-CAM technologies applied to implant-supported dentures.
