Health advertising has evolved over time to the same extent as societies have integrated the advertising phenomenon as a natural process of social development.

The ethical and deontological anchoring of the participation of the dentist should always bear in mind that, if on the one hand there is every interest in using the power of the media, as it allows very effective channels for transmitting information to the population, on the other hand, the dentist should, prior to his participation, ensure that his intervention will never cease to be as such and therefore safeguard the media exposure of the patient without any benefit for himself in his therapeutic process.
