Conference summary

Orthodontics has a fundamental role inserted in the multidisciplinary team, namely in complex cases with very compromised periodontium, taking into account all possible movements in the 3 planes of the space.
The principles by which tooth movement is ruled are universal and independent of the devices used. Currently the orthodontic planning digitally defined in a ClinCheck, allows to sequence the movements, with control of the force and direction, avoiding the movement in the direction of the bone cortical, thus minimizing the aggravation of problems of bone and mucous-gingival recession.
This conference will discuss several clinical cases with serious periodontal problems, treated with the conventional technique or the aligner system, making a parallel of the advantages and disadvantages of each technique in this type of cases.
