Conference summary
The success of a surgical procedure depends on the occurrence of complications. In this lecture, we will emphasize the importance of postoperative care measures in the prevention of the most common complications in Oral Surgery and Implantology. Specifically, we will describe local and systemic strategies focused in controlling postoperative pain and in reducing the rate of postoperative infections.
