The existence of insurance, conventions and health plans are an unavoidable part of the reality of many dental clinics. They may, however, constitute limitations to the free decision of providers, from the outset by the imposition of price lists with free treatments or with values below their cost. But what is the cost below which the patient’s best interest can be at stake?
