Conference summary

One of the biggest challenges in immediate implant placement and immediate restoration is to achieve good primary stability. In this respect, implant geometry and the mechanical properties of the implant, which interact with the alveole, are the key factors in the feasibility of the entire concept. Once established, immediate implant placement will shorten treatment times, save the alveolar bone and thus the patient many augmentations including reduction of treatment costs. The practitioner will gain significant market advantage over the competitors by establishing that concept. The brand new revolutionary Straumann® BLX implant has been designed for aesthetically convincing results and a sustainable, reliable treatment with reduced invasiveness. Patients expect successful solutions even in unfavorable conditions such as reduced bone volume and compromised bone quality. High primary stability for immediate loading in soft bone is the main asset of the new BLX.

In this lecture, you will learn how you can benefit from these effective concepts and change your view of implantology. It will be explained the surgical as well as the prosthetic procedure systematically – changing your whole concept of implant dentistry.
