Conference summary

The clinical management of upper lateral incisor agenesis represents a therapeutic challenge that often involves specialties such as orthodontics, periodontology and oral surgery.

The decision to open space for future prosthetic rehabilitation implies that the orthodontist especially value the patient’s motives, his age, type of malocclusion and facial profile, among other factors.

This conference will describe the main indications and contraindications of the opening of spaces, illustrated with clinical cases.
