Summary of the presentation
Oral rehabilitation of edentulous partial patients should be carried out so that they fulfill the functional and aesthetic requirements, which can be accomplished in different ways: fixed dental, implant or dental-implant-supported prosthesis; combined prosthesis, supported by teeth or implants.
The author discusses the different aspects to consider in these types of rehabilitations, and presents illustrative case studies for discussion of the most frequently observed difficulties.
