Conference summary

From early childhood caries to dental trauma, including sedation, oral rehabilitation and behaviour management, the practice of Paediatric Dentistry is characterised by clinical decisions that can rarely be reduced to simple or universally agreed answers.

Through the presentation of real clinical cases, participants will be invited to actively engage in the different stages of the clinical decision-making process, from the initial case assessment and diagnostic discussion, through the formulation of differential diagnoses, to treatment planning and the selection of the most appropriate approaches for each clinical situation.

This will be a dynamic and interactive session aimed at paediatric dentists, general dental practitioners and dental medicine students, making use of real-time interactive participation tools to gather delegates’ opinions and promote scientific debate and the exchange of experiences among the audience, speakers and moderators.

With a maximum duration of 90 minutes, this forum aims to stimulate clinical reasoning, encourage evidence-based discussion and promote the sharing of different perspectives on the management of the paediatric patient, reflecting the challenges and realities of everyday clinical practice in paediatric dentistry.
