- DDS, PhD, full Professor and Chair of Prosthodontics, Dental Materials, Laboratory Technologies, Implantology, and Head of the SUDD (Scientific Unit of Digital Dentistry) at the Department of Neurosciences, Reproductive and Odontostomatological Sciences, University of Naples “Federico II”, Italy.
- He also teaches in the Degree Programs and in numerous postgraduate, Master’s and PhD courses, and has held academic appointments at several prestigious international universities.
- He is Adjunct Professor in Digital Dentistry at the University of Fés (Morocco) and promoter of an academic cooperation agreement with Can Tho University (Vietnam).
- Over the past decade, together with his team, his research has focused on esthetics, innovative restorative materials and manufacturing technologies, digital dentistry, and minimally invasive restorative approaches.
- A frequent speaker at major international congresses and advanced courses, Prof. Zarone has long served as a peer reviewer for leading scientific journals and is the author of more than 200 publications in high-impact international journals.
