The integration of pre-prosthetic orthodontics into the rehabilitative treatment plan is today an essential strategy and tool to achieve more conservative and predictable outcomes.
Simple and safe tooth movements performed with aligners allow the creation of restorative space, reduce the invasiveness of preparations, and optimize the final result—not only from an aesthetic and functional perspective, but often also from a periodontal standpoint.
This lecture, delivered from a restorative dentist’s perspective, will present selected cases and highlight the importance of genuine synergy, where orthodontics and rehabilitation complement each other in the design of the smile.
