Conference summary
Over the years, as a result of the evolution of techniques and the sophistication of orthodontic appliances and, why not say it, some commercial and socio-professional pressure, bends in orthodontic clinical practice have been devalued and even considered unnecessary.
But is this the right way to go?
The main aim of this essentially practical course is to endow participants with the skills to perform basic 1st, 2nd and 3rd order bends. The purpose is to demonstrate their applicability in clinical practice and, ultimately, to enable the clinician to improve the results of orthodontic treatments.
