Conference summary
At the conference on “Pain Panel – new trends in pain control management”, participants will be led to an essential reflection: think before treating.
Pain, the most frequent and incapacitating reason that leads patients to seek help, is a clinical challenge that requires knowledge, sensitivity, and rigour.
Over time, its definition has evolved to also encompass sensory and emotional dimensions, and with it, new forms of therapeutic approach have emerged.
Among these, acupuncture stands out as an effective and versatile resource for controlling pain, whether acute or chronic, odontogenic or not, in both pre- and post-operative situations.
Therefore, at the end of this conference, practitioners will be better able to integrate pain diagnosis with knowledge of alternative approaches to pain control.
