Conference summary
Endo-Perio lesions are typically characterized by the involvement of pulpal and periodontal pathology in the same tooth.
This peculiarity makes the diagnosis difficult and complex, since these pathologies are often seen as independent entities. The treatment also becomes more challenging, due to the difficulty in understanding the real origin and the progress of the disease.
Thus, it is critical to understand and recognize this interrelationship so that the dentist can perform a correct and successful approach to these lesions.
