The handling of impressions and obtaining dental models is a common practice in all dental clinics, playing a fundamental role in the daily routine of many professionals in this field.

Throughout this presentation, participants will have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the fundamental concepts of manipulating dental impressions, considering the correct selection and utilization of different materials based on their properties and clinical applications.

Techniques for proper handling, disinfection, and storage of both impressions and dental models will be addressed, aiming to preserve the integrity and durability of the records. We will also explore the latest trends and technological advancements, such as intraoral scanning impressions, digital models, and integration with CAD-CAM systems.

Lastly, guidelines and best practices will be provided to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and safety throughout the process of handling impressions and dental models.
