Conference summary
Gastroesophageal reflux disease is a chronic disease, characterized by fluctuating symptoms and presenting a spectrum of associated syndromes, including dental erosion.
This conference discusses the pathophysiology of reflux disease and the spectrum of syndromes associated with it, namely dental erosion as an established association in the context of extra-esophageal syndromes.
Different epidemiological studies suggest that dental erosion may be a risk factor for dental erosion.
The existing epidemiology is discussed, and what is the best therapeutic approach.
