This consultation is crucial for the exercise of a more rigorous dentistry and more focused on the patient’s interest

This presentation will focus on practical aspects for the implementation and systematization of this consultation:

• Clinical history – how to perform;
• Urgent Consultation (in person vs. not in person);
• Main health problems and impact on therapeutic decision: Diabetes, Coronary disease, Chronic Kidney Disease, Endocarditis, Drug allergies;
• Clear, useful communication and in the primary interest of the patient based on ethical and deontological aspects;
• Training of the medical team and auxiliaries;
• The Treatment Plan – when and how to presente;
• A clinic with and without a protocolized Initial Exam – differences in the short, medium and long term.
