Conference summary
The relation between obstructive sleep apnea and psychiatric disorders has long been investigated, and the studies show a greater prevalence of obstructive sleep apnea in psychiatric populations and vice-versa.
There are different causes and the coexistence of both pathologies in the same patient has a negative impact and worsens prognosis.
We shall address obstructive sleep apnea in a multidisciplinary way, focusing in signs and symptoms that can alert to the existence of comorbidity.
