Dear colleagues,

The 2010 Annual Meeting will take place in Europarque, Santa Maria da Feira, between 11 and 13 November.

Once more, the programme bears witness to the OMD’s commitment to providing all professionals with the most updated and relevant information related to technological development, combining the science and practice of dentistry.

The event features numerous training sessions and interdisciplinary activities, as well as a wide variety of internationally renowned lecturers, who can be found in the most important world conferences.

In order to meet the professionals’ demands, we have included innovative initiatives, such as the discussion of topics that may be helpful to the dentist’s daily practice. Thus, we have created several spaces destined to the debate of interdisciplinary, controversial issues, in which you may have an interactive participation, like the Iberian Forum. Also worthy of note is a Seminar on Digital Photography and Video for Dentists, conducted by a prestigious lecturer.

We are also including refresher courses for health professionals, such the Seminar for Dental Assistants, which will allow for and encourage a permanent updating of knowledge.

The Meeting, however, is not limited to its Scientific Programme. Expo-Dentária is an important event, which gives all our colleagues the possibility of being in touch with the world’s most innovative industrial developments. We are grateful for the support of many companies, which contribute to the success of the Meeting.
